A band once wrote that God has a sick sense of humor. For Abeer Qassim Hamza al-Janabi, they were right. Abeer means “fragrance of flowers”. She was born August 19th, 1991 (the same year as my little sister) and died March 12th. Honor her by demanding that your government end the Iraq occupation. She was only 14 years old.
